The LIFE INText Continental demo plant was officially inaugurated in Talavera de la Reina (Toledo, Spain) on the 30th of November 2021. The opening ceremony was hosted by the President of Castilla-La Mancha, Emiliano García-Page, and Tita García, Mayor of Talavera de la Reina. The inauguration was also attended by the director of Aqualia Spain, Santiago Lafuente, the director of Zone I, Juan Carlos Rey, and the director of R&D, Frank Rogalla, among other politicians, company officials, businessmen, researchers and the media. The event was a success with a huge mediatic impact.
