Smart irrigation
El LIFE INTEXT also includes a Smart irrigation system based on an Internet of Things (IoT). This system consists on an irrigation controller capable of communicate with sensors and actuators (humidity, rain sensors and electrovalves) located in the irrigated area and to perform
according to the information obtained.
The system will minimize energy and water consumption by the reduction of at least 30% of energy and water requirements compared to conventional systems.
