INTEXT at the IWA Young Water Professionals Spanish Congress

Damián Amador, Aqualia researcher, made a poster presentation of the INTEXT project at the Spanish IWA Young Water Professionals congress that took place in Valencia between November 16 and 19. The conference is aimed at YWP members and anyone else interested in the water sector, and topics such as water quality, new technologies, new water treatment techniques, climate change and water governance were discussed.

INTEXT at the 17th International Conference on Wetland Systems for Water Pollution Control (ICWS)

The INTEXT project was represented at the 17th International Conference on Wetland Systems for Water Pollution Control (ICWS) that took place in Lyon between November 7 and 10. Two oral communications were presented: a generic one by Carlos Arias (Aarhus University) and another more technical about the collaboration of Syntea and CENTA regarding wetland results carried out by Alan Petitjean (Syntea France). In addition, it also was organized the 7th consortium meeting. The progress and challenges of the project in both plants (Talavera de la Reina and CENTA) were presented.

Dentro del programa del congreso mundial de IWA de Copenhague, que tuvo lugar entre el 11 y 14 de septiembre, se ha organizado el primer workshop INTEXT sobre depuración en pequeñas comunidades. Zouhayr Arbib, de Aqualia, fue el encargado de presidir este workshop, que ha contado con la participación y colaboración de Carlos Arias (Universidad de Aarhus – Dianamarca), Laila Mandi (Universidad de Cadi Ayyad – Marruecos), Katharine Cross (Australian Water Partnership – Australia) y Alain Petitjean (Syntea, Francia)

Full operation at mediterranean demo plant

The Mediterranean demonstration plant at CENTA (Carrión de los Céspedes, Seville) is in full operation, with good treatment performance. This initial success validates the commitment to sustainable solutions, and motivates us to continue leading the way in the treatment of wastewater in an ecological and effective way.

Successful development of the continental demonstration plant in Talavera de la Reina that looks fully green. The nature-based systems have developed according to expectations in the first months of operation, and the operation of the plant is allowing to treat domestic wastewater in an ecologic and effective manner.
