The commissioning of the demonstration plant is progressing, with the plan to start validation of the technologies in early 2022. An ambitious monitoring programme will allow the test of 16 sustainable wastewater treatment technologies that can be combined to each other. “Tailor-made” solutions can be offered to small populations that still do not adequately treat their domtestic wastewater.
As well, an INTEXT laboratory was setup to provide all the required tools to monitor the operation and efficiency of all the INTEXT technologies that will be tested in the Continental demo plant.
